Here to Help You Feel Your Best

A common question I get is why the name Cheese and Potato Designs? First, I am a lover of cheese and potatoes and when you cook them together you can experience one of the greatest combinations. When I was younger, I wanted to be a chef; because of this a lot of what I do revolves around food. I intended Cheese and Potato Designs to be a hod podge of services and products, from tie dye to cake and everything in between. Since moving to Minnesota, I have not renewed my cottage baker license, at this time, I only make cake for friends and family. I have a variety of items that I have dyed, rugs, clothing for humans and pets, towels, bandanas, and fanny packs; I also use tie dye shirts to make cat toys and rope toys, these are recycled using my old shirt or designs that don’t quite turn out like I wanted.

I enjoy being creative and share my talents with others. Tie Dye is like cake; it can turn out amazing or not be your favorite flavor. My goal is to make designs that you love and feel-good wearing. Why not turn heads with a cool shirt!

The shirt here was my attempt at recreating the magnificent sunsets and sunrises we experienced while living in Omaha, Nebraska. Thank you for taking a look, I look forward to working with you.

Making of a mountain

There is no need to make a mountain out of a mole hill, however, there is always a need to create the scene where many feel at home; in the mountains. Regardless of the activity, from climbing or hiking, straight adventuring, or a lounging on the couch dreaming of reaching the highest peak; the mountain scene is one for anyone. It brings peace in the warmth of the sun, strength in the peak of the mountains, and refreshingly cool air by the stream and in the valley below there is beauty in all things.
